In view of the 175th Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady of La Salette in France on September 19, 1846; the 70th Anniversary of La Salette Presence in the Philippines on December 12, 1948; and following the Provincial Goals and Objectives (2017-2021) of establishing and expanding La Salette Presence in as many local churches in the Philippines:
We give new religious and apostolic push to our Congregation and the Ina ng Pag-asa Province, taking it towards new horizons so that it may serve more adequately and respond more properly to the needs of the New Evangelization particularly in the “peripheries” or barrio parishes of various dioceses and archdioceses in the Philippines.
In most recent years, the Ina ng Pag-asa Province has established La Salette Presence in the following localities: Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan in Pangasinan (Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Barangay Naguelguel, San Isidro Labrador Parish in Barangay Carungay in Bayambang, and St. Joseph of Nazareth Parish in Barangay Bued in Calasiao); Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia in Ilocos Sur (San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish in Barangay Puro, Magsingal and San Isidro Labrador Parish in Barangay San Isidro, San Juan); Diocese of Imus in Cavite (Pope Saint Paul VI Quasi-Parish, Winward Hills in Barangay Burol, Dasmarinas); and Diocese of Antipolo in Rizal (St. Francis of Assisi Parish, Talim Point, Barangay Habagatan).
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette are actively present in the following Dioceses in the Philippines: Diocese of Cubao (Province House and Scholasticate), Diocese of Novaliches, Diocese of Antipolo, Diocese of Imus, Diocese of Ilagan, Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan, and Archdiocese of Nueva Segovia.
Missio Ad Gentes: Gifted to Give
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, Ina ng Pag-asa Province, continue to send Missionaries abroad: Diocese of Honolulu, Hawaii, USA (11 missionaries); Diocese of San Bernardino, California, USA (9 missionaries); Diocese of Armidale, Australia (3 missionaries); Diocese of Bukoba, Tanzania (2 missionaries); and La Salette, France (1 missionary).
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette, Ina ng Pag-asa Province, are now dispersed in seven dioceses in the Philippines and five dioceses abroad.
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette in a General Chapter decision join in the missionary spirit of the Church by reaching out to other countries, especially in Asia, Africa, and Oceania. Driven by the missionary spirit of the Church and Mary’s call to make Her message known, the Philippine Province has set foot to other Asian countries to recruit young men who would be future La Salette missionaries in their own countries.
The Philippine Province has, so far, given birth to the Matha Province-India and has been instrumental in reviving the Myanmar Mission which has now become a Region itself.
The Ina ng Pag-asa Province has recently embarked on a mission to Vietnam to start recruiting vocations for the La Salette Congregation.
The Missionaries of Our Lady of La Salette - Ina ng Pag-asa Province is present in Parish Ministries in 6 Dioceses in the Philippines and 4 Dioceses abroad.
